Network connectivity
MamaAnne provides several connectivity options to ensure uninterrupted sessions wherever a simulation is taking place.
Wi-Fi or wired setup
The Patient Simulator has Wi-Fi or wired setup possibilities, depending on simulation requirements.
Option 1: Enterprise network
The standard connectivity option is delivered by the integrated Wi-Fi module. The Wi-Fi connects to a local enterprise IT network for improved speed and signal strength.
Option 2: Router
If a local or ad-hoc network is required, use a router (Laerdal or user’s own).
Option 3: Mobile router
Use a portable, battery-operated router for outside simulation sessions where an enterprise network may not be available.

Option 4: LAN cable
Connect the Patient Simulator directly to a network via a LAN cable.
